Theology: Thinking God’s Thoughts After Him
An adult series walking through how the historic church has come to understand God's own thoughts on important faith questions. The series is designed to help disciples of Christ form their own thinking and build a worldview conversant with historic and biblical Christianity. We raise the topics addressed by the Westminster Confession of Faith (a timeless summary of historic Christianity), address its questions together with Scripture, and discuss the implications together.
Theology classes are offered in Spring and Fall semesters on a four-year rotation of the following topics.
Theology 01 | Scripture
Theology 02 | Works of the Triune God
Theology 03 | Covenant: God & Man
Theology 04 | Salvation & Its Benefits
Theology 05 | The Christian Life
Theology 06 | What We Owe God & Each Other
Theology 07 | Sacraments & Church Discipline
Theology 08 | Eschatology: Last Things

Children & Youth Sunday School
Children & Youth Sunday School at Cornerstone is about giving young ones the educational foundation to be lifelong followers of Jesus Christ. Our Children's Curriculum, Show Me Jesus, helps children encounter the Word of God and the basics of the Christian faith in age-appropriate ways. Our Junior High curriculum, Genesis to Revelation, invites children into the Scriptures in canonical order and gives them tools to understand the Bible on its own terms. And our High School Curriculum, Digging Deeper, builds on these with essential theology questions and answers from the Westminster Shorter Catechism in an interactive, discussion format.
All children 2-17 are welcome, and there's something for everyone to learn more of who God shows himself to be in the Scriptures and in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Please enroll children as either students or helpers to help as plan material and volunteers accordingly.
